On Wednesday, October 11, David Chmura, R&D Senior Manager at General Mills, will share his advice on how to reduce the environmental impact of packaging. Chmura’s keynote “Navigating the Path to Packaging Sustainability” takes place at MinnPack 2023 from 1:15 to 2:00 pm at the Engineering Theater in Booth 1745.

General Mills key sustainability packaging strategies are:

• Reduce. • Re-use and recycle. • Material innovation. • Education. • Infrastructure. • External collaboration.

The keynote — presented in partnership with the Minnesota Chapter of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) — is free for attendees to MinnPack, or any of the other co-located events as part of Informa’s Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis event: MD&M Minneapolis, ATX Minneapolis, D&M Minneapolis, and Plastec Minneapolis.
